FALL BREAK San Diego

One good thing about AZ is how close it is to southern California.  It takes us 6 hours to get to the ocean.  We decided to spend fall break in San Diego.  We started out our adventure on Coronado Island.  Kevin and I went there as part of our 10 year anniversary cruise.  It is beautiful there.  The weather was perfect.

 The famous hotel Del Coronado

The ocean was a little chilly so we went back to the pool so Kaden and Kali could swim.
That night we took a stroll along the boardwalk.  We had a amazing view of downtown San Diego.

The next day we headed to Sea World.  These sea lions were the best part.  They were so funny.

Sadly the shows have gone down hill.  They were awful.

A couple days later we headed out to sea.  Kevin has been wanting to take the kids deep sea fishing for a while now he was just waiting for us to be brave enough to bait our own hooks.

Kali caught 3 fish and a pelican.

Kevin caught a few, he had to keep stopping to help out the kids tangled lines.  What a trooper.
The seagulls were so annoying, at the end of the day the deck hand cleans the fish and throws the guts overboard, so the seagulls are there to pick up a little treat.
Our boat Electra.  Kevin and I went on this boat 6 years ago.  I got so sick the first time, this time I didn't get sick at all thanks to some motion sickness pills.

Got to love blogger messing up picture:(  view from our first hotel room on Coronado Island

Sea World,  I love the dolphins

 More boat pictures.

The pelicans were so greedy.  Kaden caught 3 birds including one pelican.  Tanner caught a few fish as well
I caught one fish,  we had a great time,  the kids were done about one hour before we headed back but had great attitudes and just kept on fishing.
The day after Sea World we met some friends at the beach in Carlsbad.  Tanner and Kadens friend Nato and Kali's friend Marina were in SoCal the same time we were so we spent the day at the beach with them and their family.

The water was cold but that never stops my family

Kevin took us to a pizza place he always used to go to.  Rosaria's

the last day we were there it poured all morning, but then it cleared up so nicely.  We headed to the beach one last time.  This beach had what looked like gold all over the sand it was beautiful.

 Looking for sand dollars
Kali and I walked out on a jetty, we saw a few crabs.

Another great trip.  Thanks Kevin

SOCCER!!!!!!!!

It's that time again even though it does not feel like fall (100 degrees +) it is SOCCER TIME!!!
I love it, the kids love it, and Kevin loves it.
The boys are on the same team again I love it.  They are on a U19 team they are with the big boys, and girls.  The boys love that.  They are doing so good so far.  Tanner has made 4 goals in 3 games and Kaden has made 1.  They have won 2 games and tied 1.  Some how they talked their teammates into the name Chaos again.  GO CHAOS!!!!

My boys also started their first jobs,  as soccer ref's. A few months back they took a 10 hour course to learn how to ref.   They are so cute out there looking so official and stuff. They have each reffed 2 games and have 2 more this weekend.  They get paid 10 bucks a game not to shabby.
My cute Kali is playing as well they have only had one game and won, finally after 2 seasons of losing every game they start this season off right.  Kali played her favorite position (defense).  They put her up front for half the game and she had two great shots, they did not go in but got a great reaction from the crowd.  Her team is also named Chaos.  Silly kids.
Kevin is playing as well on 3 teams, no pictures sorry.  I don't know if their name is Chaos:)  It probably is.
