Cutest soccer boys ever

Due to the baseball park being under construction, they are not hosting the 11-12 year olds this fall, and Tanner being to old for little league (sigh) the boys decided to give soccer a try. They were amazing!! Neither one has played in years. Tanner was 3 and Kaden was 7 last time they played, so it's been a while. Their first game was on Saturday, Kadens team won and Tanner's team got slaughtered. But they loved it, and can't stop talking about it and can't wait until next Saturday when it is their next game. Kevin is so excited for them and himself because he has been dreaming of this day since they were born.
Just some action shots

Is that kick legal
Kaden doesn't go easy on them just because it is a girl

Fancy foot work
Kevin also started up soccer this Sunday. He made their one and only goal,(while playing defence, he pointed that out to me).

Jealous anyone?

On Tuesday me and my new friend Dana, and her girls, went to New Bern to the Nicholas Sparks book signing. We waited in line for 4 hours but it was totally worth it. Nicholas (we are on a first name basis now) had signed hundreds of books before we got up there. He talked to us for a few minutes, he told us a good place to go eat in the old down town New Bern where he likes takes his kids. He was as nice as he looks and even more good looking.

My cute husband and adorable son Kaden, brought home some of these for me when they went shopping. It was Kaden's idea.

Just a day at the beach

We went to Emerald Isle on Sunday, we were hoping the clouds and threat of rain would keep all the Labor Day crowds away. I wasn't to crowded, and the weather was perfect. I bet it was about 78 degrees with a light breeze. The kids only swam for about an hour and they started turning blue so we played in the sand some more. We went with some new friends Kevin met at work, a travel CRNA from Louisiana and his family. They will only be here until November at the latest.

The kids loved being buried

The Roarkies
I do not like school pictures at all, and they are so expensive. So I decided to take a picture of Kali the morning of school pictures, I sure wish I have done that all along, I haven't bought pictures for 3 years. Isn't she so cute. After this picture and before school she took her hair down and took the earrings, and necklace off. She didn't want any one at school to see her like this and ruin her tomboy image.
