Me "I think she going to try"
Kali "How long until they come?"
Me "In about 6 or 7 weeks, but they are not staying very long only 2 or 3 days."

pet sitting and the pinewood derby

I've taken on a side job of pet sitting, it is the closest thing to a dog that we will ever get. My neighbor goes out of town a lot and so I watch his dog, 2 cats and 3 fish for him. I brought Allie the dog to my house today because it is to cold to have her outside all day and I don't want to leave her in her kennel either. So she gets to play with me at my house. She is a pain, but she sure is cute. I get $10 a day, not a lot but is does add up. When you have no income you take what you can get. I've made $80 so far.Kaden had his Pinewood Derby last night. We had a good time. There were 8 scouts, there and a lot of races. This was our first Pinewood Derby and it showed. Kaden only won one race and that is because the other kids car fell off the track.

Kaden did get third place in his pack, there were 3 kids in it. And he did get the sportsmanship award, because he had a great attitude the whole time even though he never won.

The tooth saga continues

Last night Kaden came running downstairs yelling I found Kali's tooth. I said you did what? Let me back up a little, we thought Kali had lost her tooth in the Target parking lot. So being her first tooth the Tooth Fairy still had to come. So the Tooth Fairy left a note under her pillowcase along with $5.00. The note said

" Dear Kali, Don't worry about your tooth, I found it in the Target parking lot. I just used my tooth radar mechanism and there it was. I then used my DNA machine and it led me to your house. It was a good looking tooth so I can't wait until you loose another one. Love, the Tooth Fairy."

So when Kaden found her tooth on the floor in her room we were shocked.
Kaden then put Kali's tooth into a baggy with a note, it says

" Dear tooth fairy, I think you dropped my tooth when you gave me the money. Love Kali P.S. give Kaden some money because he found it on my room's floor.

what i do when i am bored

My two latest projects, i don't have any Valentines day decorations, so I thought this is a great opportunity to make something new. I love holidays for that. There is always something rolling around in my head to make. This is my first time using modge podge, and I loved it, it was way easy and I turned out just the way I had envisioned.Also when I am bored I enjoy watching the home makeover shows, and then copying them. I saw this one on While You Were Out, on TLC. I wanted to make it for my living room, but it didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted so it is in my bathroom.

Kaden won't admit to it, at least to me, that he has a crush on this cute girl on the right. Today as I was walking out of the kids school after dropping them off, Tiffanie was walking in and asked me if Kaden has a My Space. I don't think Kaden even knows what that is. I said no but he does have an email. So I gave it to her, he is going to kill me.

Kali's tooth that she just lost, she lost it again. We went to the store, she wanted to put her tooth in her new locket that Grandma gave her and it fell out in the Target parking lot somewhere. She's hoping that the tooth fairy will still come. :(

She did it!!!!!!

Kali has finally lost her first tooth. It has been loose for a while, she wanted to loose it when Grandma and Amy were here, but it didn't happen. Kevin had a great idea of tying her tooth to Tanner's remote control car and driving it. She was way excited. There are many emotions of loosing your first tooth.
