Last week the kids were on fall brake, Kevin was lucky enough to get the same week off so we took the kids to California!!!!! It's only about a 6 hour drive to southern California from our house.
We started out buying season passes to Six Flags. We spent the first 2 days there. It was a lot of fun but real hard on the body we were so sore for a few days. Mostly me though, I took a spill in the parking lot the second day. I think I tripped on a parking curb. I didn't even realized I tripped until I was on the ground. I stubbed my toe, slapped my hands on the ground and slid on my hip. It is no fun to fall as an adult it hurts a lot more than when you are a kid.
Superman was one of our favorite rides, it goes 110 miles an hour.
They had their Halloween stuff going on it was pretty fun.

Living in AZ we have no hills, so Six Flags was quite the work out for us.

My kids have never found a trinket with their name on it. Well Tanner did once. Kali was so excited to find this but didn't want to buy it so we just took a picture.
After our 2 days at Six Flags we drove south to San Clemente to visit Missy. She lives in a great house over looking the ocean. We spent the day at San Clemente beach.
It was a little cold but it didn't stop my family from having fun.
It was foggy all day until about 4:30
Missy and Tessa came to hang out with us at the beach. Kali loved Tessa and Tessa loved Kali.
Tanner and Kaden love digging holes, they seriously dug holes for 4-5 hours.
Tessa loved the water and wanted to play in it constantly but it was so cold Missy would have to drag her out.

We had dinner at a pizza joint right on the beach.
And walked the pier to burn off the pizza calories:)
We spent the night at Missy's and drove north for the day. We stopped near Long Beach and played on the rocky coast line for a while. It was a perfect beach day.
Then we headed into HOLLYWOOD. It was so hot, we thought we were going to Cali to escape the heat.

We spent the night near Venice Beach, the next morning we walked along the Venice Canal's It was so pretty.

Another day at the beach. This day was much warmer. I actually put a suit on and went into the water up to my hips. The water was still freezing.

We are all about soccer right now, Kaden is on 2 teams school and rec, Tanner is on rec and trying out for his school team, Kali is on her rec team and Kevin is on 2 teams. So ya we have soccer every day of the week.
On October 27th it was Tanners bday and he is lucky enough to share it with these two cute puppies.
We waited to have real cake until Grandma and Grandpa came to visit later this week
Grandma and Grandpa were able to watch all the kids play. Tanner did not disappoint by scoring 4 goals this game. Score 4-0.

Kaden and Kali went trick-or-treating with friends, Tanner finally decided he was to old to trick-or-treat, he stuck around and scared the little kids, it was so fun.
He is so responsible he is doing homework and and passing out candy. We put a hole in the bowl and someone sat under the table and put our hand through the candy and scared people. I have never done that before so fun. except for the brats that thought it was fun to brake my fingers.
Kali wanted to be a baby so she added a spooky flare.
I'm not sure why but Kaden was a missionary. I wasn't sure if people would be offended.

Kaden's school has made it to the championship game. This game was a nail bitter, it was to qualify them to go to the championship game. the score was 4-3 Kaden made a great assist.
