First off I would like to let everyone know that my Husband has been working so hard in school this last 4 months and it payed off. He received a B in all 4 of his classes!! We are so proud of him. We have also enjoyed his presents at our house for the last week. He gets a 10 day break and it is great. His parents, aka Nana and Papa came to visit, they got to celebrate Kevin and Kali's birthday with us and see each of the kids play a game of baseball. We also went to a lot of fun sights to show them the east coast. Unfortunately we were unable to go the the beach for the weather would not cooperate with us. Around NC there are a lot of random grave sites they have very old graves dating back to the early 1800, spooky.
This is River Park North it is a waking path through the swamp it is very
peaceful.
We took them to Washington (little Washington) not to be confused with Big Washington. We got Bills
hot dogs (they are almost
florescent red, but very good and famous according to all the locals) We had a
picnic on the boardwalk.
Then we walked along the boardwalk and I cant believe all the wild life we saw. You see the toad in this picture?
This is a Muskrat, it was so creepy, it was probably 2 feet long from nose to tip of tail.
This is a Water
Moccasin a
poisonous snake. Again very creepy.
There were
Lily pads everywhere, it was so pretty. Tanner counted over 300 turtles.
In little Washington they have all these painted crabs, there version on the painted buffalo we have in Utah. Well we had a great time, it is so nice to get away from the
routine of life and do something different. Thank you so much for coming Nana and Papa...

It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I was so glad you posted new pictures. I was missing you guys tonight. It's so fun to see what you're up to. One question - are the kids having a hair growing contest? If so I challenge them to grow it until they move back.
Look at all the fun you are having! It is so pretty back there. I should come and visit! :) I love the walk way. What a pretty place to take pictures of! I love how green it is!

you are having way too much fun there. i just sit around all day and do nothing. i don't get out to enjoy utah...mainly because b doesn't like to and i have grown accumstome to that. sad. love seeing all the fun you are having.
I agree it seems so fun and pretty there!!! I bet you were so glad to get kevin for awhile I love when Todd has a break from school and his is not as hard as Kevins!!!
Glad you get Kevin back for a while. Nothing like having dad around.

Look how much fun you guys have in Carolina (as Ethan calls it) Life can't be that bad eh? We sure miss you guys here and can't wait to see ya'all! When you come back you will think you flew right into a desert wasteland considering how green it is there right now!
