spooky!!! Pumpkins, fog and chalk OH MY!!

In October we like to take the kids to a pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins, it is much funner than going to the grocery store. This is our first Halloween here so we needed to find a new place to go. We went to Brileys, the same place where we picked strawberries in the spring. It was ok, it was pricier than the one we went to in Utah. So we did all the free stuff that was there, you know us and free stuff. They had a petting farm, playground, nature walk, and a hay maze. The pumpkins were $6.00 so we went to Walmart after and let them pick from their$3.95 pumpkins, not as fun but cheaper.

There is this field we pass every day when we go to school. A lot of the times it is in a blanket of fog. This is not a very good picture, after I dropped the kids off I went home and got my camera and walked to the field, and a lot of it had already burned off. I will attempted another picture another day. It is very creepy looking.

I Love my little girl. She love to draw and craft just like her mama. She is very good, this is the chalk art masterpiece that we worked on together. After this, we (including the boys) made body outlines they were trying to beat each other for the funniest pose. I got to dark so we couldn't take any pictures. It has finally cooled down enough in the evenings here to enjoy the good outdoors.

You do the coolest things with your kids. I wouldn't buy pumpkins for that price either! But you sure got to use all their free stuff :)

Love the sidewalk art - she is crafty like her mama.

Can't wait to see the creepy fog picture.

Hey kim, to answer your question he is in Scottsdale, Az. He will be there for a total of 10 weeks, we only have 2 more to go. Yipee! Then he will be done with school.

What cuties! I love the picture of them laying on the BIG pumpkins! (And the picture of Tan's tush making an appearance through the pumpkin hole!) I was hoping to see a picture of the funniest pose winner for the body outlines! I'm glad you guys are having lots of fun!

Kali you are a great artist, just like your mama! The pumkin patch looked like a lot of fun. I looked at our pumpkins this morining and they are totally frozen. I guess that is what happens when it is 10 degrees!

Hi Kim! Thanks for showing up on my blog :) Your kids are way cute. I really miss the south and it's made me less homesick reading up on your adventures! Hope the cornbread works out well for you!
