First day of school

Yesterday was the first day of school, yea!!! The kids for the most part had a good day. They all seem to have good teachers this year so that is a plus. They do unfortunately have to wear uniforms, which the kids and I hate. But my kids are cute in anything they wear, right?

Kali is in second grade her teacher is Mrs. Ward, I guess she is one of the better teachers, we were lucky. Her class is a lot more racially equal. At least compared to last year where Kali was the only white kid in the whole class. She is still out numbered but its good for her. Hopefully she will make good friends this year she has not done that yet since we moved here.Kaden is in 5th grade, and has Ms. Leaman, she is a new teacher but seems to love her job and is very nice. Kaden says she talks way to fast. I'm sure he will do great.
My little baby is in 6th grade this year which is middle school here. He gets to sleep in about an hour from last year, he likes that part. So far so good, he was a little nervous yesterday but had a good time. This year will be interesting, I'm sure he will be fine.

Cute! I had to laugh at the first day of school pictures taken by the front garden. I like that tradition. Your flowers as well as your kids are beautiful/ darling.

hahaha...I noticed the garden background too! It looks good. Your kiddies are SO cute. They are going to do great this year. Tell them their Uncle Weston started school the same day they did. Maybe I'll do a post tomorrow all about it! :-)

Wow! 6th grade....I can't believe it! That was my favorite year. Britton has been in school for five weeks now and Shay starts next week. Year round school is a little tough but we are working through it. Hopefully it will be easier when shay gets in the year round system.
