Just a day at the beach

We went to Emerald Isle on Sunday, we were hoping the clouds and threat of rain would keep all the Labor Day crowds away. I wasn't to crowded, and the weather was perfect. I bet it was about 78 degrees with a light breeze. The kids only swam for about an hour and they started turning blue so we played in the sand some more. We went with some new friends Kevin met at work, a travel CRNA from Louisiana and his family. They will only be here until November at the latest.

The kids loved being buried

Thats a keeper.
The kids dug holes the whole day long, about 8 hours.

I do not like school pictures at all, and they are so expensive. So I decided to take a picture of Kali the morning of school pictures, I sure wish I have done that all along, I haven't bought pictures for 3 years. Isn't she so cute. After this picture and before school she took her hair down and took the earrings, and necklace off. She didn't want any one at school to see her like this and ruin her tomboy image.

Your kids are cute as always!! As for your question on Arbu! It rocks if you stay at the DIVI all inclusive resort. The beach is one of the best ever. But I do not know about the other hotels. The island is more deserty so it is not the best if you want a tropical feel. It all depends on what you want but I would go again in a second.
