Our family was invited to go to Schnephs Farms, right after Halloween. My boys are always so busy so Kali and I went. We had a great time, Kali's best friends were there too. She was excited about not having to spend the night with just her boring mom. She was very sweet and made sure she included me in with anything her and her friends were doing.
Rec soccer is now finished, I love when it starts but I love when it is done as well.
At one of Kali's practices they did a photo shoot instead. The girls loved it.
Tanner finally got his braces off. He is such a handsome fella.
some sad news. on November 19th 21 days after he got his licence, Tanner got into his first accident. He was headed south on Power and a car going North decided to make a U turn right in front of him in the intersection. No body was hurt Kaden, and their friend Justin were in the car with Tanner coming home from soccer.
Almost 2 1/2 weeks later we are still waiting on the insurance company to decide if the other guy was at fault. He was, the police game him a ticket, I don't know what takes so long:( I'm so glad no one got hurt, it was a very scary call I got from my little Kaden. They were both pretty shaken up.
Growing up I always danced in parades. I was so excited for Kali when she had the oppurtunity to do it as well. She had a great time, the weather was perfect, not to cold and not to hot. She did so good I chased her down the parade route so I could film her.
They did their dance to Katy Perry's Fireworks, played by the Williams Fields marching band.
My boys also got to be in it. Their rec soccer coaches husband owns a car dealership and had asked the team to pass out hats, t-shirts, and Sun's towels. My boys also had a great time. They were so cute.
This is what I captured when they saw me, they both came running to give me the things they were passing out. I just love them so much.
Rec soccer season is done, like I said it makes me happy and sad. At least I get to watch both my boys play for their high school JV team for the next 2 months.
Tanner's girl friend Kelsey, they met on this team.
A cool water tower at one of the soccer fields.
Thanksgiving was very good this year, My Mom, Dad, and Jason were able to come down. We also had Kim, Zak, Zane, and Eli here. Kali, my mom and I made these cute turkey's.
Kali also made these pie snack things
My mom and all the yummy food
Lots of big boys to feed.
Eli looked so lonely at the kids table by himself.
Thanks for coming mom, dad and Jason. It was so nice having you.
Tanner got asked to his first High School dance. His girlfriend Kelesy asked him to her winter formal.
She came and decorated his room while he was at soccer practice. She put glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling. And yes they are still there. He gets to stare at Kelsey's glowing name as he goes to sleep every night.
My mom got stuck here for 3 days, the joys of riding stand by. I loved it. Extra mom time. We spent one of the days Christmas shopping. It was so much fun. While she was here we had her take some family pictures for our Christmas cards. Here are some of the ones we didn't choose. Kevin was working a 24 hour shift, so we went out to his work to do pictures. I love the back grounds.
I had to throw in all the obvious rejects, because they were so silly
My mom can't see very well so she didn't notice that Kali had turned her vest around. Silly girl
My kids got a little silly near the end.
Thanks mom your the best
We have only put lights up on our house maybe 2 times since we have been married. Kevin insisted on putting them up this year, I love it.
A little more from our Thanksgiving weekend with the parents. Yes it was warm enough to swim, the joys of living in Arizona. We have lost our tans though, do you think?
