It's funny how life comes at you. Sometimes I get so board I don't know what to do, I have a lot to do (cleaning) I just don't want to do it right then. Then other times it seems that everything is coming at you all at once. I decided to apply for college. I have never been and I thought hey why not. I went to the community college which is about a mile away from my house and applied. I think I will eventually go into early childhood education. This same time Kevin is stressing about school, wondering if he is doing the right thing. He called me very upset (crying) don't tell him I told you so. He had got a 75% on a test that he needed a higher grade on. But he didn't let it bother him to long he has to keep on studying. Me and the kids brought him some treats and went to a pond that is on campus and feed the duck, geese, seagulls and the turtles. He needed a little break. He was feeling a little bit better after that. The very next day, yesterday he got home at about 11:15pm which is not unusual. Although he planned on being home earlier. He, for the second time since we have lived here, had gotten into a car accident. (the first time in the burb with all of us in it) He hit so hard his backpack flew from the trunk knocking the back seat down and hit his seat. Thankfully he didn't get hurt. I will not bore you with the details, but it was not his fault a girl had turned into his lane, but since he hit the back of her car, the cops decided to make it a no one's fault accident so now we have to pay to get our new car fixed, it smashed the front light and the hood pretty good. I would post a picture but my dumb computer is not cooperating with me, so when I get it working I will post it, if it not fixed by then.
Then today while I was making dinner the news kept interrupting Dr. Phil telling of a hail storm coming with a possible tornado. I was a little windy and very dark, but relatively calm. Then while we were eating they told Greenville and Winterville to take cover in the basement (no one has basements here) or in a closet, and to cover ourselves with pillows and blankets for protection. Kaden was so scared he couldn't eat. Kevin called us from school and you could here the hail over the phone. He is about 6 miles north of us. He told me not to worry about bringing him dinner. (Do you think:) Reports said there was golf ball size hail. But it passed without even a sprinkle by us, and no damage or tornado. I have come to find out they kind of freak out about storms here. We have had about 4 tornado warnings since we have been here. We brought him dinner after all and fed the ducks and turtles. So today didn't turn out to bad. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Boy have you had a crazy time. I always have things happen in sets of three so maybe you are done. It has been so fun to read your blog and stay in touch. Do you realize we have known eachother 12 years!! We past the odds of how long people stay doing hair after the graduate!!! I hope things go better for you.
i am so sorry about kevin and how hard it is for him. but things will get better.
good for you going to school! i think that's great! i wish i could get my degree but at my rate and credits under my belt you are sure to pass me up in a heart beat.
glad you are all safe and that the storms passed you by. we have friends in greenville! that was funny you mentioned that...town. keep safe.
You sound like you are having one of my weeks. I am so sorry! That really bites. When is rains it pours (or tornadoes in your case:) )
I think it is so cool that you are going back to school. I have always wanted to finish what I started but for some reason - this little bubba showed up and now I am being a mom. You give me hope that I can finish!
What do you do if you don't have a basement when that huge storm comes by?
I love how you can be a weatherman and be so wrong and still keep your job! Sorry about the car!
