Baseball in November?

Over the weekend Kaden played in a charity baseball tournament, 3 games on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. Kaden's coach got the league together to raise money for one of the boys in the league who just found out he has leukemia. Each player payed $25 or more to play. We thought that was reward enough to be part of this whole event. But one of the trophy shops found out about it and donated trophies to the winners. Kaden's team won. He got a huge trophy and got on the news (we did see it, but a lot of people told us they saw his team on the news). It was a great weekend the weather was cool on Saturday, and so nice on Sunday. We had a great time, and to see the community come together to support on little boy that is going through the fight of his little life was so eye opening to me. It makes me so thankful for what I have.
The cute little boy out of uniform is the boy who made all this happen. That's his big trophy on the table that the shop gave him.

What an awesome idea to raise money. SO I had a lot of catching up to do on your blog. I love that the kids cooked you guys a romantic dinner. That is so awesome! You are perfect to halp out on activities. You are so crafty. I bet the ward loved all of your ideas. I love the snowman! I have my pumpkins up right now and everyone is asking me where I got them. I tell them a very crafty friend of mine made them for me. One of these years we will have to get a big group of people together and do a craft week! It would be so fun.
