crazy busy

It's funny how things happen and before you know it you are in the middle of being part of the wards activities committee and have 3 major parties in the next 6 weeks that you need to plan. Kevin was called to be part of the activities committee, and you know what that means, Kevin doesn't have time to sleep or eat let alone add something else to his plate. So here I am, don't get me wrong I am enjoying my self very much it gives me something to do. First we had the ward Chili cook-off, as you can see I won the dessert contest, yeah for me, thank you Chelsea for your yummy recipe. I made Veronica's Texas Cornbread, it didn't win but I loved it. The missionaries were the judges, they are way fun. We (me and Amelia) made these aprons for them. And we made the winners aprons.

My new ward buddies, Gannon, Amelia, Laura. We set up this area for a family photo shoot. It was a big hit. Then we had craft the night away last night. I was in charge of 3 projects. The snowmen blocks that I did 2 years ago, for super Saturday. 3 different sign boards, and the recipe card holders that Lynette gave out a couple of years ago for Christmas. It is nice moving to a new place, you can reuse all your old ideas. Now this week we are starting the Christmas party stuff, I am so excited.

Romantic Dinner

Kali has been wanting to give me and Kevin a romantic dinner for weeks, but with our busy schedule and Kevin never being home it is hard. She finally got her chance. We made Taco's, then the kids made menus and served us dinner by candle light, then they joined us. It was so sweet. They even served us dessert afterwards. Love my kids.

Kim, the dinner reminded me of the time you guys did that for me and dad. It was so cute, I remember you played the violin, made menus and dressed up. I think the dinner was spaghetti. It's something I'll never forget
