What we have been up to

Our new house. Still to unorganized to show inside pix.

If driving 35 hours across country was not enough we decided to take a 12 hour drive to Utah to meet our newest nephew, and go to his baby shower.

This mountain is Snow Bowl, near Flagstaff
Yeah UTAH!!!!
The proud new dads!!!

Wes reading to the little ones, they actually sat there for quiet while listening.

Kevin and Xander
Tan and Xan, I was holding him and he was very upset, I handed him over to Tanner and he went right to sleep.
Kali and Xander

Kaden and Xander, he is so smiley, his face is so expressive

We had a great time visiting with family. I wish we could of stayed longer but I will take what I can get. Our drive home was so beautiful. Escpecially near Kanab.
Right before we were crossing into Arizona a wasp flew in the window and stung Tanner on the elbow and flew right out. Nice how do you do.

This is near Jacobs Lake, we would love to come up here to camp one time. During our trip home we stopped for lunch in Beaver, the kids had Wendy's. About an hour after lunch, Kaden was not feeling well, I thought he was getting car sick, I told him to look out the window, it was not helping. By the time we were at Jacobs lake he started puking out the window.
I let him sit up front and he took a nap. We stopped at this bridge over the Colorado river, I love how quickly the scenery changes on this trip.

Kaden was still feeling really bad. Although he didn't lose it over the bridge. By this time Tanner was feeling a little queasy. We had to stop at a gas station on an Indian reservation and Kaden ran inside and had to use the bathroom, and Tanner ran out of the car and started puking outside the gas station. They felt a little better after exploding from both ends, so when we got to Scottsdale we went to Oregano, a yummy Italian restaurant. We just got out food and Tanner started feeling yucky again. He starts puking on the table he ran outside and started puking in the driveway, right in front of the host and out door diners. Poor kid. The waitress felt bad for us and gave us free dessert. I felt bad for her seeing there was puke all over the dishes, needless to say she got a big tip.
There sickness left as quickly as it came, all we can figure is that it was food poisoning from Wendy's.
Since we have been back home, there has been more unpacking and hanging out with cousins. The kids like to fish at the lake in our neighborhood, it is about a 30 second bike ride from out house. So nice.
Then we took all the boys and Kali to Canyon Lake. We specifically bought this Suburban because it had 9 seats, and it would fit our family and all the boys.

The lake is so pretty, cliffs everywhere. The kids jumped off this cliff all day. The day was perfect, the weather was just right the water was a little chilly, but it felt good. I even got in, not by choice, but I'm glad Kevin pulled me in.

Tanner and Zane climbed up this cliff, Tanner stopped at about 20 feet because we made him, Zane climbed up about 50 feet and jumped, he is crazy.

The gang

cute smiley face cactus
There was a neat ghost town on the way home, I would love to stop by one day.
So far we love Arizona, it was a good move for our family. Kevin started work this week, and doesn't love it but he will, he has to work with someone that he doesn't love, so as soon as he is on his own he thinks he will really like it.
