Biosphere, hike and a promotion

Kaden had a field trip to the Biosphere 2. I happily volunteered. I was really cool, we learned a lot. There were lots of wind tunnels
They had an ocean, desert, tundra, savanna, mangrove and a...
rain forest. It has been around for just over 20 years. You should read up on it, it was fascinating.
My puppies are so cute, very time we go out the gate to go for a bike ride or something this is what we see. They could easily jump over this fence but they don't know that.
Kali has 2 dance recitals, one a hip hop dance and another a theater jazz. I love it
Tanner was having his 8th grade promotion (graduation) so we invited Grandma and Grandpa to come see. They came Sunday and so we had a few days to have fun with them. They suggested to go to Sedona, we have been wanting to go up there so we were excited. We decided to go on a hike to Cathedral Rock. We started with a picnic by a river.

Thats the rock. 2 miles away
It was a little warm but not to bad. The hike was very challenging, but amazing
It was so beautiful, the cactus was blooming
There were these really neat plants, not sure what they were but they were so cool.

Taking a breather
This is the top unless you want to climb a 300 foot rope
Taking another breather at the top.

my handsome husband
Tanner is now a Junior High graduate. He had a promotion ceremony Tuesday night. They all walked into the room 2 by 2 to the song Fireworks by Katy Perry. I had to hold back tears, I was so proud to be his mom.
Tanner is in the top about 6 of his class of 120 kids. He is so amazing. I'm not sure what number is exactly but only about 6 kids got high honor roll. I just love this kid so much.
He was so happy to have his Grandma and Grandpa there.

He picked out his outfit all by himself, he is so handsome
posing with some of his friends. I think they are Jacob, Ramon, Nato and I don't know the kid on Tanners left
They gave the kids these teeshirts with all their names on the back. There were lots of leftovers that were way to small for any 8th grader but the kids loved them
More friends, Brandon and Sebastion
Kaden and Kali got shirts too
Tanner just had to have sunglasses to go with his outfit. I wish he would of let me get a good picture but you get what you get with this kid. Love you Tann
