our summer thus far

Tanner got his cast off just in time for summer. His left arm is so small, it's smaller than Kali's arm. He still has to wear a brace for 4 more weeks. That will be 14 weeks total.
Kali had her first hip hop recital last week. She did really good. It was a little low budget, at a church and silly costumes but she looked good up there dancing her little heart out. She wanted a picture of her skirt blowing up so she stood on top of the air conditioner it worked great.

We went up to Canyon Lake with cousins. It's always a great time hanging out with them. We just love living by them. The water was cold but that wasnt about to stop them from getting in.

Zak caught lunch
Daisy May came with us, she loves the water

Tanner came home from hanging out with friends with his shirt over his face. So Kaden and Kali had to join in. I told them they looked like a stop light

Tanner is now playing on the Williams Field High School freshmen baseball team. They had him pitch the first game. He did really well.

Tanner is letting the puppies pick out what treat they want.
Last weekend we took the kids, Ethan, Eli and the dogs to California. Kaden says the dogs look like torpedo's with their heads out the window

We spent the first night at Great Grandma Molitor's. The kids got to camp out on the living room floor.

The Roarks with Grandma
We couldn't go to Cali without going to the beach. We went to Oceanside, and had a great time.

The water was so cold. I couldn't hardly stand putting my feet in, but of course the kids got in all the way
Me and Kali made rock people and animals. This is me and Kali

The kids love digging for sand crabs.
We spent the next night at Kevin's Aunt Betsy's house. That is a kids paradise. Golf cart, huge theater, pool, air hockey, all you can drink Hot coco, Horses, pond, pool. the list goes on and on.
Twiddle Dee and Twiddle dumb these two are so silly together, they are exactly alike, its so cute
Charlie making friends with a cow

Aunt Betsy has a great pond area so me and Kali did a photo shoot.

Kali even took pictures of me

The first meeting of the red shirt club.
My dogs loved Aunt Betsy's house as well besides almost being eatin alive by a 150 pound golden retriever. We had to lock him up so my dogs could run around.
They pool was at least as cold as the ocean and the air temp was about 70 degrees but the kids still wanted to swim. it lasted about 5 minutes

but it was all worth the cold water to come inside and have hot coco
The car ride home. What a great trip, it was nice to get away. Thanks for coming with us boys.
