another amazing summer

This summer started out with a trip for the boys, they went camping up at Knoll Lake with cousins and Uncle Eric.
All the boysEric and Zane
Kaden has been really into reptiles lately, thanks to his science teacher last year Mr. Pollens. He found this horney toad and was so excited.
Lost of fishing, they caught dinner and Tanner actually ate a whole trout and liked it.
We have tried a veggie garden this year. We started these carrots from a seed, and this is all we got.
UTAH!!!! we drove to Utah for the summer, my kids just love it and so does Charlie. Him and Kai have a love hate relationship. They love to play but Charlie doesn't know when to quit so Kai gets a little annoyed and attacks sometimes.
Kai's defense is sitting on Charlie.
When we first got to Utah we were in charge of watching Amy's and Jeff"s kids. Mylie and Ethan had a dance recital at Raging Waters. So grandma, grandpa and us took the. I even got to dance with Mylie, it was so much fun, I miss dancing. Kali was asked to dance with the little boys, they needed one more boy and Kali was thrilled to pretend to be one for a dance.

All the dancers after the performance.
The kids love grandma, she is such a great grandma. Here they are making grandma's famous homemade bread
Rylie and Charlie would not stay out of the river, they were so cute. We had to shave them when we got home because their hair was so matted with burrs and from being wet all summer.

I hate guns, any kind of gun, but sometimes you have to let your kids do stuff cuz they want to and turn your head the other way. My boys bought these bee bee guns right before their camping trip with cousins earlier this summer. They spent most of their time at bear lake sitting in these chairs shooting at targets. I even tried it. I still hate guns

Tanner spent most his time like thisThe boys targets
Kali and Tanner came up with a log teeter totter, i love how bear lake brings out the imagination in my kids.
The lake is up so high this year

My puppies loved the lake, every chance they got they would run away to the lake.

We decided to go for a hike that we had never been on. I chose the Limber Pine trail. It was really pretty and only 1 mile, the only down fall was the mosquitoes, they were awful. I probably got 50 bites or more.

There was a bit of snow left from this winter. My kids were loving it.

Love this picture of my mom, don't mind Jason.
As a kid we would play with the mustaches from the mustache tree and the belly buttons from these weeds that grow up at bearlake. I thought Kali would have good time with that, and she did.

They did this all week
We took a bike ride to the marina, they had a machine that you could by fish food and feed the fish, it was nasty, I didn't know Bear Lake had nasty fish in it.

Tanner would let the fish eat right out of his fingers
Bear Lake is so beautiful

More dogs at the lake
Not only was the lake up so high, the rivers were running so high. This is up Swan Creek canyon.

We took a ride up to Paris. Paris, Idaho my moms favorite place to take pictures
Tanner was way into taking pictures this summer, here are some of his pics
Kali has always wanted a picture of her blowing a dandelion, and I finally captured it
Tanners pictures

A great trip to Bear Lake
We stopped at Ricks Springs, it to was running so high

This is up Logan Canyon. A river coming down from Logan Cave

Tayler invited us to go to a BMX track. My kids loved it. Thanks for the invite
Jason, and Amy's kids came with us.

I love summer in Utah, there is so much going on. We went up to Chelsea's house to decorate bikes for the Centerville bike parade.

Here is some of the crowd that participated, thanks for the idea Chelsea.
We went and watched the Centerville fireworks that night. Cute little Arie

Not a real good picture, but I wanted to capture my boys playing pool with my grandpa, he always asks them to play when we visit.
We then moved on the the Eaglewood fireworks. One of my favorite things to do in the summer.

My mom with arm wrestle anyone, anywhere. And she usually wins!!

Cute kids advertising for Jasons Adrenaline Motosports

It's nearly impossible to get a good grandkid picture, but that wont keep us from trying.

My puppies spent a lot of the summer outside, because they loved the river so much they were wet most of the time. They would look so sad staring in the window
A new tradition is going up to Park City for the Silly Sunday. The group is getting bigger and bigger.

Jason has loved campaign signs, since he was Kali's age, now Kali loves them. Its like a house of cards on steroids.
My puppies loved Kai, Kai didn't not love them so much.
Amy invited us to go water slide, It was so fun!! my kids have never done anything like this.

Kevin got to join us this summer for a few days. He came just in time for Kaden's 13th birthday. We started out the day going to Raging Waters. We bought passes this year, it was fun.
Then Amy and kids met us at Nickle Mania, Kadens choice of birthday celebration every year

Then we had a party at my mom and dads that night. It started with picking raspberries

Charlie joining the party

Here is the birthday boy, he has been looking forward to this day for about 2 years, because he knew when he turned 13 he would get a cell phone. He also got an Adrenaline hat from Jasons shop. A little about Kaden. He is so sweet, he is best buds with Tanner and Kali, he is so smart and such a joy to have in the family. He is a great helper, and makes us laugh daily. Love you kid you are the best.

Ethan wanted to do a magic show for Kadens party. Kaden was nice enough to let him to this.
Not a good picture but thats all I got for some reason:(
Amy invited us to go to a new splash pad down in Foxboro. Tanner was a party pooper and didn't go but the rest of the kids had a great time.

Tayler invited Kali up dirt biking, she loves it and wish she had her own bike. Maybe one day
Another trip to Bear Lake. I love that the lake is so high, the kids can just carry the kayaks down the lane and go for it.

my puppies were so naughty, if they were not inside or locked up they would run away, we lost them for about 1 hour one time, it was scary. So they spent a lot of time like this:(
Grandpa rarely gets to relax on vacation, here he is fixing sprinklers. Kali is digging for worms in the dirt pile.

Chelsea has some way cute pics of her family by this old barn up in Lake Town so I wanted to take some pictures of my cute kids there also.
Chelsea took most of these I love them.

Here is the precarious barn

The kids played for hours in the dog cage
Davis loving his baby sister

Kali often times will ask me to take pictures of her in various outfits.

Tanner brought Nick up to bear lake this time, they spent most of their time throwing Axes at wood.

Beautiful Bear Lake, this whole summer a storm blew in almost every night, love it.
Jason's 20th Birthday party!!
At Bear Lake we found this cute dog, and we ended up taking it home. She was so sweet and didn't have a collar. Now she lives with my cousin Carisa

Great summer, again, thanks Mom, Dad and family for letting us invade yet again.
