Lake Powell 2011

Another great trip to Lake Powell. It's my favorite vacation it is such a great tradition my family has. I have been at least 37 times, it does not get old. Tanner is such a stud wake boarding. We usually have 30 people on the boat but this year was very empty so my wonderful dad let us bring Zak and Ethan. They had never been, they loved it.
I hate that Tanner, Kaden, and Jason love to hike scary rocks. They two little blue dots are Jason and Tanner.
Kali getting dirty
All the cute grandkids, Tayler 5, Tanner 14, Kali 10, Arie 1, Kaden 13, Xander 11 months, Ethan 7, Mylie 4, Davis 2.
The fun new toy, you can float and squirt people, so fun
Kali showing off her dives

Kali and little Ethan (we had 2 Ethans this year so I thought I would specify) were such good buddies this year

The famous sand hill

My beautiful mom
Love these boys, thanks for staying
Me and Amy have a great time on the sand hill:)
every morning we had this cool reflection on the wall
The little kids loved to play in their hut
We had an awesome spot, the beach was in the shade all day and the boat had shade most of the day. Shade is top priority for our time here.

Awesome wake boarder Kaden
Playing late night cards
Tanner and Ethan were great buddies all week
My handsome husband
Xander and grandma bobbing
There was so much debris in the water this year, a big hit for the week was this huge log, it was hours of entertainment
Amy brought a million tattoos, so we thought it would be fun to tramp stamp attack everyone.

Jeff surprising me with a very flattering picture
I came out with a bandanna on my head and Mylie said she wanted to be a pirate too, then Arie starting freaking out, she wanted one too. So cute
Big Ethan's first time wake boarding.
Cutest Xander.

more fun on the log. or Oggie Kevin would call it
Kaden wanted braids, so me and Chelsea braided his hair, it lasted about 1 hour and he took them out.
Cliff jumping!!! forget Jesus walking on water, is it just the timing of the picture or is Tanner walking on water:)

More Kali, and Little Ethan

Trying to get a cute family picture, thanks Amy
The water was so gross this year.

We drove up from Gilbert this year, it was about 8 1/2 hours but it was so beautiful. We went right through Monument Valley.

And to cut off about 40 miles from our 500 mile trip we took a dirt road called Moqi Dugway, it was very cool. You climb up 1100 feet in 3 miles of switch backs. It was quite precarious.

As we pulled into Gilbert a Monsoon was coming in.

And a rainbow to finish a great trip
