As to carry on my family tradition, me and the kids made gingerbread houses. And of course you have to wear the Santa hat while you do it. It's way messy and a little frustrating but we always have a good time.
The kids are sporting the Santa mustaches.

Winterville had a Christmas parade, (it size) I compare it to Garden City Berry Day's Parade. It was way fun for the kids, and my neighbor Chad who got more candy than the kids.
It was so hot, we have been having temps in the high 70's. It's hard to get into the groove of Christmas when it is so hot outside.

Me and the kids decorated the tree the day after Thanksgiving, but I forgot to take any pictures so Kali wanted to recreate it.

Kali you are too cute. That would be weird to have such a warm Christmas....I think I would be ok with that.
Yeah! I'm the first to comment! This has never happened before! Waahooo! Okay enough celebrating, what cute gingerbread houses! I am so impressed! Maybe I should attempt that with Ethan. I'm a little nervous that it would end in me angry and Ethan sad because he made a mess. That would be fun for Christmas!
1st- they have pez tree candies- how awesome is that for the ginger bread house. I bought the kit and still haven't done it. Maybe tonight.
Happy Birthday to your dad, sounds like something i would do.
It is 13 degrees right now and I would love to feel some nice warm weather - please send it our way!
Love the gingerbread houses it is one of our favorite things to do. We get to do ours on Monday and there is always a huge frosting fight started by someone!!!I think it would be hard to get in Christmas mood without snow also!!!
Love the gingerbread houses! We miss you all so much. I can't believe how fast your kids are growing up. They are all still about 3 or 4 in my head. It is still crazy for me to see pictures of them so old!
