I asked my kids what they wanted to do for spring break this year and they all shouted UTAH!! So the day after I got back from Hawaii we loaded up the car and drove to Utah. My wonderful mom came with us again, way to nice. We brought the dogs with us they were not to bad in the car. We had a pit stop at Jacobs Lake the dogs loved the snow, it was their first time in it.

I think kids are so funny, Jason had a bunch of friends over when we got there, this is what they were doing.

Davis loved our doggies.

cutest daddy ever

I thought the age difference with my kids and their cousins would be to much, but they sure love to play with each other.

Whoops he did it again. Tanner wanted to go to Utah so he could go snowboarding with Jason. He did and he fell and he broke his arm. I know it is nothing to laugh at but after the third time I don't know what else to do. He went down a few runs and fell a few times he sprained his right wrist, but kept going it was early in the day. Then he went off a 1 foot jump and fell backwards and broke both bones in his left arm just above his wrist. The ski patrol splinted his arm, he got to go down on a stretcher sled, thats pretty exciting. He also got a free ski pass. We met Jason and Tanner at Primary Childrens Hospital.

They gave him morphine and then took x-rays, that was awful, I stood there and held his hand, but he was sweating so bad and nearly passed out. I wish I could just taken the pain away. They had to put him under and set his arm. I stepped out of the room and called Kevin, and lost it. I could hear him moaning and they asked for help holding his legs down while they did it. Tanner doesn't remember a thing but I sure do. He is doing really good now, we went to get more xrays done when we got home and his bones moved a little but the doc said they were fine and they put a cast on him. 7 weeks, 3 with the long cast and 4 with a short one.

We were so lucky to watch Xander 2 times while we were up there.

The weather was kind of rainy while we were there, so my kids spent hours making Adrenaline signs for Jasons shop. Here they are making their masterpieces. And wearing their new Adrenaline shirts.

This one is Kali's
cute little Rylie jumped right up on this little chair
My puppies were kind of naughty while we were there, they liked to use my dads office as their bathroom so they were banned from the house, they did not like that too much. They did discover the river though and had a great time.

Kaden and Kali had the opportunity to go flying with Jason. Jason is working on getting flight hours, and took the kids to Delta. They packed a picnic and had a great time.

I made Kaden take my camera so I could see what they saw.

We had a bbq with the family before we went home. I was so happy that my Grandma and Grandpa could come.

The girls.

I made the trek home all by myself, and it went great. We stopped at Lee's Ferry to stretch our legs.

The pups loved it. Well Rylie did,she is very adventurous. Charlie is a chicken.

This was Rylie's position pretty much the whole way home. I think she liked the air blowing through her hair.

Sorry overload of baseball pictures. I have missed baseball so much, I think it has been 2 years since they have played. Tanner and Kaden both made their school team this year. Ok all the kids who tried out made it. But they would of made it anyway right? Sadly I didn't get to see Tanner play before he broke his arm and now he can't play, he thinks he is going to next week, we will see. His plan is to use a right handed glove, he will catch it and take his glove off then throw it. Anyway, Kaden is doing so good, he is hitting the ball great and fielding very well. All the years in NC with the baseball overload has paid off.

Take a look at that shot:) I believe it was a double

A day after we got home from Utah, Nana and Papa came for a visit. This sadly is the first family picture we got of the Roark family. I wanted to make it all nice by the lake, but we ran out of time so this is what we get.

Nana and Papa and the grandkids. Eli 11, Tanner 14, Zak 16, Kali 9, Zane 14, Kaden 12, and Ethan 13. I just love these kids.

Kaden is also playing soccer this spring, he is a busy fella. He is on a terrible team, but Kaden's skills are improving so much.

Beautiful AZ sunset at Kaden's game

Tanner being artsy

Kevin had a great idea to go to the drive-in. We watched Rango, it was hard to pay attention to so I have no idea if it was any good. It was fun but I think we will stick with the free movie's at the park.

We are attempting a garden this year, I have no idea what it will do in the AZ heat, and I should of planted it a month ago but it is worth a try.

My poor puppies got a little snippy snippy yesterday. They were so drugged up it was hilarious. Rylie would just stand there with her head hung low and stare for 5 minutes with out moving. They are so sad. They don't know what to do with themselves with their cones on their heads.
