First day of school pictures

Tanner started Fifth grade, I can't even believe I have a kid that old. I remember when I was in Fifth grade. He got Mr. Thomas, he seems cool, he is young and has a pony tail. Tanner is doing their Stride program, that is for the gifted and talented. He gets to go the the middle school once a week and do fun and educational stuff. He told me a couple of days ago that he thought this would be a great year, I hope so. All my kids are going with such great attitudes, unlike last year.Kaden is the cutest thing ever, he is also way excited about school, he has Mrs. Sinquefield (forth grade) She is really nice. He also gets to do the Stride program. Only 5-6 kids per grade (about 160 kids) get chosen to do it. We are looking forward to the challenge.
Kali has Mrs. Jaquith, she seems nice I don't know anything about her. Kali is way excited and a little scared. Although she didn't even cry when I dropped her off this morning. I had to walk in her class and ask her to give me a hug, she was already in the door before I realized. I thought we would struggle like last year but so far so good. She is getting so big.

It is crazy how fast kids grow up. Thanks for the warning about first grade. Hopefully Kindergarten will prepare me for the next year. But kindergarten is full day here, so maybe it won't be that bad. I just can't take it. My kids are all growing up.
